Meet Lexie

Lexie is a proud, born and raised Austinite (a Unicorn if you will) who has loved getting to witness the city grow over the past few decades! She attended college at Texas Christian University, where she grew a passion for non-profit events and founded the TCU chapter of Miracle Network Dance Marathon. Through this, she planned and produced countless small fundraising events, as well as multiple large fundraising events for hundreds of attendees. She perfected the art of a detailed timeline and ensuring that every vendor knows their roles on day of production.

After graduating, Lexie moved back to Austin and joined a local event planning company as their office administrative assistant. Shortly after, she began taking on her own events and fell in love with getting to be a part of her clients biggest day! After 4 years and executing over 100 events, she decided to go off on her own and start 787 Events! 787 Events is a nod to her Austin roots, as all Austin area zip codes begin with 787.

Lexie has a keen eye for the smallest of details and strives to ensure that any event day goes off without a hitch. She wants each event to be as unique as her clients, incorporating moments from their history and relationship to tell a story and engulf the guests into an experience. Her favorite moments of a client’s wedding day range from beginning to end; from their giddiness before the couple sees each other for the first time, to witnessing their fun on the dance floor!

In her free time, Lexie enjoys getting wrapped up in a good book, trying all of the new restaurants that Austin has to offer, and spending time on the lake with friends.
