MAGGIE + JAKE

Maggie & Jake met while attending TCU, but it wasn’t until they reconnected a few years post-grad at a mutual friends housewarming party, that Jake commented to a friend “When do you think Maggie will realize I’m trying to ask her out?” that they formed a relationship. The two dated for about a year and a half before Jake surprised Maggie by proposing on a sailboat on Lake Michigan, with an epic view of Chicago, Maggie’s hometown, in the background. When looking at where to get married, the two had a few cities in mind, but Fall in Chicago just couldn’t be beat!

Some highlights from their day include some of the sweetest toasts from family and friends (the story Maggie’s dad told about golfing with Jake didn’t leave a dry eye in the house), giggles and tears during the ceremony, which was a true reflection of the calmness of the couple and how easy they felt surrounded by all of their people. An incredibly packed dance floor from the moment the guests entered the reception full of cup balancing, crowd surfing and countless memories made. It was the most perfect weekend celebrating Maggie & Jake’s love with their epic party people!
