Allyson & WIll

Allyson and Will have one of my favorite stories around. Having had mutual friends for years, Allyson’s friends from high school and Will’s friends from college, it wasn’t until they matched on a dating app that the two met for the first time and began their relationship.

Will was in Austin from Los Angeles for the UT vs. LSU game and matched with Allyson. Allyson, a night shift NICU nurse, was coming off of a shift when the two met for their first date, coffee at 7 am before Will caught a flight back to LA. Immediately after that first date, both Allyson and Will texted their friends saying they had to see each other again. Through long distance, flights for weekend long dates and countless texts and phone calls, Allyson and Will’s relationship grew.

Their wedding was a beautiful display of the love that the two have for each other, and a perfect reflection of them as a couple and as individuals. From the ceremony officiated by the same pastor and “bonus dad” that baptized Allyson, to the couple’s favorite snack, popcorn, served as the cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres, and a dance floor so fun, even grandparents didn’t want to take a break. The entire evening reflected Allyson and Will to their highest honor.
