Megan and Alex waited 3,406 days to celebrate their 10 year relationship and marriage with friends and family. The two met while attending the University of Texas at Austin and the rest is history!

It is an incredible honor to get to help plan a dear friends wedding, but it’s an even bigger honor when that friend has been in the wedding industry for 8 years. Megan knew she wanted to get married at a space where she hadn’t planned other events; somewhere that could be special to her and Alex forever. When Woodbine Mansion came to be, she knew it was the perfect backdrop for their special day.

With a weekend full of events, Megan and Alex knew they wanted to incorporate as many “friendors” (vendors that have become friends!) as possible, to collaborate on the different elements that would make their celebration so special! They also knew they wanted to incorporate many unique details that reflected their 10 year relationship and the importance their family and friends played. Each detail reflected something the couple loves - from handwritten notes to each guest, to specialty cocktails with important meanings, messages written on the bathroom mirrors as guests freshened up, and each food selection being specially crafted out of their favorite cuisines (who doesn’t love a good Chili Bar).
